TREKKING IN CORDILLERA REAL

The Cordillera Real is the largest mountain range in Bolivia and stretches from north to south for about 125 kilometers. Thanks to the humid air coming from the Amazon basin and the altitude of its peaks, it hosts many glaciers despite being very close to the equator. One of the most famous treks in Bolivia runs almost entirely along the range over approximately 15 days of hiking. It is without a doubt one of the most stunning walks in the country, as it takes you through lunar landscapes and glacial valleys rich in local flora and fauna.
